The Hands-on Activity Programs in Dubai – CSR Activity

The Hands-on Activity Programs, which started in 2012, are a specially-designed project whose basic principle is to give The University of Tokyo undergraduate students representing the next generation the opportunity to be exposed to lifestyles and sets of values different from their own. This year, for the first time in three years after the spread of COVID-19, the program was implemented in UAE. Experience and learn about the ‘now’ of UAE, which aspires to become the financial center of the world and is also developing technologies related to renewable energy sources. On 16th September, five students actively asked questions at Hitachi’s office, giving them the opportunity to share aspects of Dubai that are different from other foreign countries, as well as the challenges and rewards of working in UAE.
