Facility visit at Ammars Company, South Sudan
Finally, a counter visit of HMEC team to Ammars Company at Juba South Sudan was executed lead by Mr. Piet Van Bakergem and Mr. Aycan Akalin. HMEC team finding that Ammars as a Company are well organized and meets Hitachi Construction Machinery (HCM) standards.
An unexpected development was that the AMMARS had previously acquired 5000 m2 of property next to their offices to build a future commercial office including a parts warehouse and workshop HCM dealership for the country; this area will serve as their headquarters for South Sudan. Machines will come through Mombasa port and go by road to Juba.
So far a firm order order for 10 + medium-sized excavators was placed by the Ammars Company. We HMEC have confidence that many orders will follow as the country has large opportunities in combination with AMMARS excellent reputation.
