Hagbes Handover Ceremony

Hagbes PLC, a well-known construction equipment supplier in Ethiopia, has made a significant contribution to the country's development.

On December 12, 2023, Hagbes PLC delivered 19 Hitachi ZX350H-5G excavators to Development Bank of Ethiopia (DBE). These excavators are highly reliable, fuel-efficient, and durable, that makes them ideal for the mining and construction sectors. DBE will transfer these excavators to their end user customers with lease financing scheme whom engaged in both mining and construction sectors.

During the handover ceremony, President of the Development Bank of Ethiopia, Yohannes Ayalew (Dr.) said that “the bank is supporting citizens engaged in agriculture, manufacturing, mining, and other sectors by providing such a reliable products for the success of their project implementations and he emphasized that, the bank will also continue supporting the sectors. He also mentioned that the equipment provided to the mining sector will enable the country to take advantage of the vast opportunities it has in the sector.

Hagbes Directors of Operation, Mr. Bezuneh Assefa, emphasized the longstanding partnership between Hagbes and DBE, spanning several decades. He expressed the commitment to further strengthen this relationship in the future by supplying reliable machineries like Hitachi for Ethiopia's growth and development. Mr. Bezuneh Assefa also congratulated the owners that received the excavators and assured them of Hagbes' full support, including after-sales service and supplying a quality products.

The delivery of 19 Hitachi ZX350H-5G excavators, with the support of the Development Bank of Ethiopia, marks a significant milestone in Ethiopia's development. These excavators, known for their reliability, fuel efficiency, and durability, will play a crucial role in the country's construction and mining sectors.
