The Egypt Mining Forum 2024 was held on July 16-17, 2024, in Cairo's renowned Nile Ritz-Carlton hotel. This event, organized by dmg events and hosted by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, seeks to highlight Egypt's rapidly evolving mining sector and attract international investment.

Key Highlights

At the Egypt Mining Forum Technical Conference, Mr. Danisman Murat, Deputy General Manager of Mining and Product Support (HMEC) presented the Hitachi Ultra-large Hydraulic Excavators EX8000, which boasts an operating weight of 800t, among the highest in the world, and features a bucket capacity of 40m3. The EX8000 is in operation at mines around the world. With innovations such as the use of short stroke electronic levers, we have also pursued improved operability and interior comfort in an effort to reduce the fatigue on operators at sites operating more than 20 hours a day.
