The **Service Technician Competition 2024 for Heavy Machineries** is an exciting event organized by Hitachi Construction Machinery Group. This competition aims to enhance the technical skills, proposal abilities, and motivation of service personnel, thereby improving service quality, ensuring stable machinery operation, and boosting customer satisfaction.
Hitachi Construction Machinery Middle East Dubai qualifying round was held in June, where selected service staff from five dealers participated (UAE, Kenya, Hagbes, and Qatar). The competition included a practical test where participants inspected malfunctioning components of excavators and recorded their findings using the ConSite Shot app. Additionally, there was a knowledge test covering areas such as hydraulics, electricity, mechanics, and more. Participants were also evaluated on their ability to effectively report to customers.
In October 2024, the final competition was held in Technical Training Center in Kasumigaura, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. Where the top participants from various regions will compete to showcase their skills and knowledge. Service technicians have an excellent opportunity to demonstrate their expertise and learn from their peers, fostering interaction and the exchange of knowledge and experiences.
