Unveiling Excellence: Hagbes PLC Launches Hitachi ZX350H-7G Excavator and BX100 Backhoe Loader in Ethiopia

On January 28, 2025, the Sky Light Hotel in Addis Ababa hosted an exhilarating event organized by Hagbes PLC, marking the official launch of Hitachi's latest machinery: the **Excavator Model ZX350H-7G** and the **Backhoe Loader Model BX100**. The launch event was graced by 157 diverse range of attendees from various industries, including the construction companies, mining industry, equipment importers, rental companies, and key government institutions as well as President and representatives of the Ethiopian Contractors Association and enthusiasts eager to witness the unveiling of these groundbreaking machines.

In the presence of management and representatives from Hitachi Construction Machinery Middle East Corporation FZE (HMEC), Hitachi Construction Machinery Indonesia (HCMI) and Hitachi Construction Machinery Japan (HCM). From Hagbes Plc. Directors and Management were present at the Launch Event.

Event Highlights

The event was formally opened with a short speech by Mr. Piet Van Bakergem, General Manager – Marketing. He then invited the first speaker, Mr. Manabu Arami, President of Hitachi Construction Machinery Middle East Corporation FZE (HMEC), who addressed the audience. Following Mr. Manabu Arami, speech the second speaker was, Mr. Vighen Behesnilian, Managing Director of Hagbes PLC, took the stage, along with other high-ranking directors and managers who also delivered remarks during the opening ceremony.

The highlight of the event was the presentation by Hitachi Engineers and Sales Managers, which provided an in-depth overview of the new models' innovative features and capabilities.
