Hitachi EX1200-7 is perfect for demanding underwater project
The largest excavator to be delivered by Hitachi Construction Machinery Netherlands last year, an EX1200-7, is now working on a demanding project in Germany. The unique machine, with an operating weight of almost 150 tonnes, is owned by Netherlands-based company Dieker Overslag.
SMBP has been operating a Hitachi EX1200-7 excavator at its Viabon quarry site in Eure-et-Loir since February. The machine is equipped with a 6,000-litre bucket that has been designed to lift and drop a nine-tonne steel breaker ball used to fragment oversized rock.
A Hitachi Premium Rental compact electric excavator has played a vital role in regenerating the town centre of Aalst, near Eindhoven in The Netherlands. The ZE85 was used by J. van Uijthoven & Zn BV for groundworks, sewerage activities, and installing utility pipes on the site near Eindhoven in autumn 2024.
