Maintaining customer satisfaction in Switzerland
Probst Maveg is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year as a Hitachi dealer for the Swiss market. The company carries out repairs, machine overhauls, provides attachments and develops customised designs for Hitachi construction equipment. It is represented in five locations throughout Switzerland, with over 30 well-trained service technicians, 30 vehicles and a large stock of spare parts.

After-sales Manager Mathias Schneeberger says: “A large area of our business is in full-service contracts. We sell over 95% of our machines with a maintenance contract. This means that the customer has a worry-free package. Maintenance and repairs are included in this period.”
Offering a high level of customer service is a priority for Probst Maveg and this has been made easier using Hitachi satellite monitoring systems such as ConSite and Global e-Service. “This allows us to monitor the parameters of the machine. With this we can see the pressures, operating performance, and error messages,” explains Mathias. “Together with the customer, we can agree on a repair and carry out the maintenance accordingly.”
