Hitachi improves fleet management for construction equipment in France with new partnership

Advanced telematics technology is now available on selected Hitachi construction equipment models in France, thanks to a new collaboration between HCME and ShareMat.

From April 2024, factory-integrated telematics systems will be available for Hitachi excavators three tonnes and above. As a result, customers in France will have the option to receive operational data on their fleet from every 24 hours up to every 10 minutes.

Increasing efficiency on the job site

ShareMat specialises in providing fleet management systems for construction equipment. The Hitachi remote monitoring solution Global e-Service will be API-integrated with the ShareMat fleet management platform. This will provide customers with access to a range of services and enable them to manage their mixed fleets more effectively and further increase efficiency.

HCME welcomes collaboration with industry-leading third parties, such as ShareMat, to provide innovative solutions that help customers to enhance efficiency, maximise availability and reduce life-cycle costs.
