Swiss quarry makes landmark investment in new ZX890LCR-7
The Swiss quarrying company Steinbruch Mellikon AG has complemented its two 30-year-old production machines, which are slowly becoming redundant after more than 20,000 hours, with a new Hitachi Construction Machinery (HCM) ZX890LCR-7 from the local dealer Probst Maveg.
This landmark investment in the latest technology is of historic significance, especially for a limestone quarry that was established in 1912 to the north-west of Zurich in the Aargau Jura mountains.
