Why the ZX135US-7 excavator is the perfect machine

An apprentice for Norwegian company Vats Anlegg AS has welcomed his new ZX135US-7 after working for his employer for just over two years. “Of course, it's nice to get a new machine so early, I am very pleased, because I got everything I wanted,” says Deimilis.

The machine is well-equipped making apprentice Deimilis Korenkovas feel valued and heard by the company, which is based in Øvre Vats, Norway. “I wanted a lot of light, and I got it.  It is very easy to change between different attachments with the new tiltrotator– easy as 1,2,3.”

This is not the first time Deimilis has used this type of excavator. "I operated the same size before – a Zaxis-5 model. It was also very good and I really enjoyed it. But something has happened to the size of the cab, among other things – this one is more spacious,” he says.

The new ZX135US-7 is the latest addition to the large and impressive fleet of Hitachi equipment owned by Vats Anlegg AS. “We have around 20 employees and we also have a very good range of machines. A new machine fleet is great for both us operators, and the company's reputation,” adds Deimilis.

The perfect machine

“They say that the cab of the ZX135US-7 is the same as on a ZX225, and it's noticeable. In addition, it is very soundproof. In terms of comfort, it has also improved. I really like the hydraulics on Hitachi excavators. I've become well used to the good hydraulics, so I'm glad that it was Hitachi. It's hard to say what I really like best.” The versatility of the new machine is also appreciated by Deimilis: “It gives variety in the work, and it can work on anything. That was why I wanted to operate this model.” The ZX135US-7 is being used on a project to build an outdoor training park. "It’s fun to be involved in different things – I want to learn and be involved in as much as possible. And here there is a bit of everything – such as masonry, planning, loading, and casting. It's nice.”
