Cab comfort is key for KN Entreprenør AS
Two new Hitachi Zaxis-7 excavators have been delivered to KN Entreprenør AS in Frøya, Norway by the local dealer Nasta: the ZX155W-7 wheeled, and ZX135US-7 medium excavators.
Comfortable working environment
KN Entreprenør’s operator Are Herring is delighted with his new Hitachi ZX155W-7, which has already clocked up 500 working hours. He believes that the main reason his company continues to rely on Norwegian dealer, Nasta, and Hitachi construction machinery is because “they are very reliable”.
Ultimate operator comfort is a huge priority for Hitachi and Are takes pride in his new machine. He explains that the Zaxis-7 wheeled excavator has “better visibility with the large mirrors, and a comfortable working environment with the effective heating and a lack of noise in the cab”.
Having driven wheeled excavators for 4.5 years, Are is also impressed with the innovative Aerial Angle camera system, which gives him “a better view behind the machine”.
Spacious cab
Fellow operator Sten Gøran Opsahl is currently working with the Hitachi ZX135US-7 medium excavator on a project for Norwegian shellfish company, Hitramat.
Sten explains the difficult nature of this job site, with “limited space and many things to take into consideration when operating this new machine”. As such, he is pleased with the stability and manoeuvrability of the ZX135US-7, which he can “turn around without thinking too hard about it”.
This is Sten’s first time driving a Hitachi model since he was an apprentice and he’s very happy with the upgrade: “There’s plenty of room in the cab, and it’s also great that they’ve added suspension between the console and the seat!”
