HCM NL delivers its 1,500th machine to T. v.d. Vlist

The Dutch dealer, HCM NL, has supplied a ZX150W-7 to its sub-dealer T. v.d. Vlist in Gouderak, which marks the 1,500th delivery of a Hitachi machine since their partnership began.

A welcome addition

On 4 February, the wheeled excavator was welcomed by T. v.d.Vlist’s founder, Teus van der Vlist, who established his successful business back in 1966. Since then, Teus’ son, Hugo, has expanded and shaped the company into a specialist in the sale and rental of earthmoving machines.

A long-standing relationship

Hitachi’s latest wheeled excavator models, the Zaxis-7 series, have already proved to be extremely popular in the Dutch market. So, the team at HCM NL is unsurprised that this ground-breaking model marked such a significant milestone.

T. v.d. Vlist and HCM NL have been working together for over 35 years, with the first new Hitachi machines being delivered to customers in 1987. Teus’ business officially joined the network of Hitachi sub-dealers in 1998, which means that the two companies are also celebrating the 25th anniversary of their original agreement in 2023.

Dutch contractor takes delivery of first two Zaxis-7 medium excavators

The first Hitachi Zaxis-7 medium excavators in The Netherlands have been successfully delivered to Grondverzetbedrijf Oosterveld BV (video), based in Bornerbroek in the east of the country. The ZX350LC-7 arrived in May and was followed in September by the ZX250LC-7. Both machines were supplied by Timmerman BV, an authorised sub-dealer of Hitachi Construction Machinery Nederland.

Dutch contractor Arco de Visser, based in Zeeland, has been a Hitachi customer since 2005, having started his business in 2003. “I had operated machines from a young age and when I started working for myself, I requested offers from different brands. The quickest reply and the best offer were from the local Hitachi sub-dealer, Pladdet,” he says.
