HitachiCM Europe joins the European Demolition Association
Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV (HCME) is proud to announce that it has become a member of the European Demolition Association (EDA). As a manufacturer of special application excavators designed specifically for demolition, HCME is pleased to join the EDA, which represents national associations, contractors and suppliers, and promotes and protects the interests of the industry in Europe.
HCME is committed to delivering reliable customer-centric solutions, and uses extensive research and innovation to develop market-leading products and services. Its vision to become the first-choice solutions provider is driven by a dedication to help build a better future for all.
HCME President Takaharu Ikeda says: “We look forward to collaborating with other members of the EDA, sharing our expertise and exchanging information to improve working conditions, standards and training within the dynamic demolition industry.
“By sharing knowledge and expertise, we can continually improve our equipment for the benefit of contractors and operators, ensuring it reaches the highest levels of safety, efficiency and reliability.”
HCM demolition machines have been developed to meet the needs of those working in the industry. Based on standard models, they have several options to add strength and durability for working in challenging environments, and increased safety for operators in the cab. Fitted with mono, two- or three-piece booms, they can reach up to 40m. HCM also introduced specially reinforced multi-carrier models for demolition projects at Bauma last year, including the ZX400MC-7 and ZX600MC-7.
