HCME NL attends largest outdoor construction machinery fair in The Netherlands

On 8-10 June 2023, HCME’s enthusiastic dealer team from The Netherlands exhibited at the largest outdoor construction machinery fair in Western Europe: TKD. The popular event took place in The Netherlands.

TKD 2023 marks the first time this outdoor fair has been able to take place in five years, with recent cancellations due to the global pandemic – but this year certainly delivered with a huge line-up of attractions! The event showcased the biggest names in Europe’s construction industry, highlighting the companies specialising in earthmoving and recycling equipment. It attracted a record number of industry professionals. 

Quality construction machinery brands on display

HCME NL were stationed at lot 156 across the three-day display, with an array of 17 different machines on show. This selection included three electric excavators, as well as the premiere of the new ZX95US-7! And that’s not all, as the HCME NL stand also featured the ZW160-7 wheel loader.

A technical contact day

This year marked the 28th TKD event and this one offered many suppliers and activities. These “technical contact days” offer exhibitors the chance to display their unique and market-leading construction solutions, while visitors can test and compare their favourite brands.

The HCM models that were available for testing included the: ZX55U-6EB; ZX85-6EB; ZX95W-7; ZX135W-7; ZX150W-7; ZX210-7; ZX300-7 with CoPilot; and the new ZW250-7.

TKD23 also offered a more environmentally friendly atmosphere, with electric charging provided by Aggreko and clean diesel machines on display.

Hitachi presents new ZX135USL-7 forestry excavator

Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV (HCME) is launching the new ZX135USL-7 forestry excavator. Designed for a variety of applications such as logging, log felling, loading and digging, it perfectly meets the needs for European customers and is assembled at HCME’s factory in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Equipped with a robust undercarriage, it offers enhanced durability, stability and safety for challenging working conditions. With a higher ground clearance (560 mm) than standard models, it travels smoothly and easily over uneven terrain, and the short rear swing radius of 1490 mm makes it ideal for working in compact environments.
