HJM and SCAI win HCME’s value chain awards
As part of its 50th anniversary celebrations, Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV (HCME) held a dedicated awards evening in an exclusive venue overlooking the Amsterdam Olympic Stadium. The aim of the inaugural event was not only to commemorate the successes of its dealer network, but also to honour those who are helping to build a better future.
Expanding the value chain
Two awards celebrated dealer successes in Hitachi value chain services: the HCME Rent2Rent Award and Parts Excellence Award. These accolades rewarded dealers who have helped to build upon Hitachi’s reputation for flawless service, both by growing rental programmes and helping to keep machines running uninterrupted.
Rent2Rent
The winner of the Rent2Rent Award was HCME’s largest and longest-standing Italian dealer, SCAI, for its substantial contribution to the growth of the Hitachi Premium Rental programme, providing instant access for their customers to the latest Hitachi models and embracing the industry’s shift towards rental equipment.
Upon accepting the award, Alessandro Cesaretti, the Rental Division Manager for SCAI, said: “I am very proud to accept this award – many thanks to Hitachi, and the Rent2Rent and other teams at SCAI. This programme has been a big success in Italy.
“There are more than 200 Hitachi rental machines currently in the market and the most popular range of machines is the 20-tonne class. It didn’t take us long to realise the potential of this scheme to diversify our activities, find new opportunities and grow along with our rental solutions.”
Parts Excellence
The winner of the Parts Excellence award was HJM from Spain, for its dedication to helping customers to achieve optimum performance, lower maintenance costs and maximise uptime through supplying high-quality Hitachi Parts.
HJM CEO Juan Rodriguez Alvarez shared his pride in winning this award: “I am extremely happy to receive this award on behalf of the people at HJM. We have worked hard to achieve this and I am proud of our team. To meet our targets, we have educated the market, trained our staff, and been successful in serving our customers quickly and reliably.
“This has given us the opportunity to showcase the excellence of our company to our customer base. We will maintain this initiative with Hitachi Parts as part of the whole value chain programme. In this way, we are being very active to add more value to our after-sales operation.”
