Kiesel’s pioneering spirit rewarded by HCME
As part of its 50th anniversary celebrations, Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV (HCME) held a dedicated awards evening in an exclusive venue overlooking the Amsterdam Olympic Stadium. The aim of the inaugural event was not only to commemorate the successes of its dealer network, but also to honour those who are helping to build a better future.
Pioneering spirit
The final award category of the evening, and by no means the least, was the Pioneering Spirit Award that celebrates those dealers who displayed the ‘Kenkijin spirit’, which is a key characteristic of the Hitachi Construction Machinery family – and is at the heart of all HCME’s activities.
HCME’s German dealer, Kiesel, won the award for its achievements with KTEG, zero-emission machines, Co-pilot, Makineo and Coreum. These innovative solutions were designed to meet the specific needs of their customers, make strides towards sustainable construction machinery, and accelerate digitalisation.
Maximilian Schmidt, Managing Director, Sales Division at the Kiesel Group, said: “Although I collected the award, it wasn’t for me personally – I’m just a small part of the whole organisation. Since the very beginning with used equipment, the company has had a pioneering spirit in its DNA. The customers have always been first in terms of finding better solutions to meet their needs.”
