Meeting Hitachi super-fans at Bauma 2022

In search of Hitachi super-fans at Bauma, we met Philipp Hartmann and his father, Heinz, from Gnarrenburg, north Germany.

Family super-fans!

They have five Hitachi excavators for their demolition business, Hartmann Abbrucharbeiten, including three ZX210 models. But this doesn’t include the ZX210-5 on Philipp’s neck – a tattoo he got three years ago! “This is the model I operate, it’s my favourite,” he says. Heinz says: “Since we started working with Hitachi in 1993, we’ve found nothing better. So long as we are doing demolition, we are working with Hitachi machines. The service is great, and they just run and run.”
