Moviter hosts anniversary event to celebrate HCM partnership

The authorised Portuguese dealer for Hitachi Construction Machinery (HCM), Moviter, is celebrating its 30th anniversary of working with the leading manufacturer in 2023. To mark the occasion, they hosted an event in May at its headquarters in Leiria.

The celebration boasted more than 400 guests, including the President of HCME Takaharu Ikeda, as well as many of the company’s valued customers and employees. They were all invited to join in the fun, and to witness the presentation of Moviter’s new after-sales service facilities, which they have invested in recently.

A valued partnership

The team at Moviter was delighted to welcome President Ikeda to Leiria, who was equally pleased to be there to offer his personal congratulations. Speaking at the event, he said: “Thanks to the support and dedication of Moviter employees, we have been able to increase our market share in Portugal and reinforce our brand image. We are extremely proud of what we have achieved together, and we look forward to continuing our profitable partnership for many years to come.”

Moviter has been the authorised HCME dealer in Portugal since 1993 and equally values its relationship with a quality brand. The company had also represented HCME in Angola since 2008 and in Mozambique since 2015. Catarina Vieira, CEO and shareholder of Moviter agrees: “Hitachi is an important brand, which has allowed us to grow and qualify our business. We owe much of our success to Hitachi, but it is to our customers that we owe our existence. That is why this initiative was perfect, bringing the two together, in a celebration with our team.”

Hitachi presents new ZX135USL-7 forestry excavator

Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV (HCME) is launching the new ZX135USL-7 forestry excavator. Designed for a variety of applications such as logging, log felling, loading and digging, it perfectly meets the needs for European customers and is assembled at HCME’s factory in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Equipped with a robust undercarriage, it offers enhanced durability, stability and safety for challenging working conditions. With a higher ground clearance (560 mm) than standard models, it travels smoothly and easily over uneven terrain, and the short rear swing radius of 1490 mm makes it ideal for working in compact environments.
