What has been your experience of working with the Hitachi brand?

We’ve had the opportunity to catch up with our customers, dealers and employees, to get their feedback on the company – and the products that mean so much to them.

Quality and reliability

A recurring theme throughout our interviews was the dependable nature of Hitachi construction machinery. Belgian contractor Wim Ceulemans considers the 30 Hitachi machines he has used since the 1970s and concludes that “they have all proved to be equally reliable”.

Dutch contractor Arco de Visser, based in Zeeland, has been a Hitachi customer since 2005. He tells us about his earliest experience with the brand, saying: “I started working for myself and I needed an excavator […] So, I bought my first Hitachi with which I was really satisfied.”

And from a sustainability perspective, our interviewees further recommend Hitachi. Louis Vinck, from our Belgian dealer Luyckx, says that because the quality of Hitachi construction machinery is so good, “you never have to replace the seals or the cylinders, compared to other brands where we had to do that regularly”… Undoubtedly saving our contractors’ valuable time and resources.

Customer satisfaction

Nils Olav Haukaas from our Norwegian dealer Nasta explains that his experience of the Hitachi brand is the way our machines exceed buyer expectations. He tells us, “The products are very reliable, and this makes the customers happy – and happy customers I think, is one of the main reasons why Nasta had such success in the market for construction machines.”
