Hitachi hints at surprises for Bauma 2025
December 12, 2024
Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV (HCME) is preparing to showcase an exciting array of products and services at Bauma 2025, with several developments making their worldwide debut.
More than 30 machines ranging from one to 120 tonnes will be on display at the 4.000 m2 stand. This includes the manufacturer’s growing line-up of electric machines, from 1.7 to 14 tonnes. The largest battery-powered model will be available to view on the stand’s demo area.
Seven mini and compact excavators (one to nine tonnes) will be presented, of which several are equipped with two-piece booms to highlight their added versatility. In addition, a selection of Zaxis-7 models will be exhibited in Europe for the first time.
Also making their first appearances are three innovative models in the medium crawler category. They are accompanied by the recently launched ZX135US-7B and ever-popular ZX210-7. Representing the extensive Zaxis-7 wheeled excavator range are the ZX135W-7, ZX175W-7 and ZX220W-7, renowned for exceptional fuel efficiency, and unrivalled comfort and safety.|
Customer-focused solutions
To highlight the extensive portfolio of Hitachi construction equipment, next year’s Bauma stand will also host two ZW-7 wheel loaders, the ZW180-7 and ZW310-7. And to reflect the manufacturer’s aim to provide customer-focused solutions, there will be several special application machines that have been developed to answer specific industry needs. This includes the ZX250LCN-7 super long front excavator and ZX350LC-7 with clamshell telescopic arm.
In addition to the impressive machine line-up, HCME will present a range of digital solutions and services on stand FN.716, including the new Hitachi Connect Fleet Monitoring tool and ZAXIS Finance. Hitachi Premium Rental and Premium Used equipment, parts and remanufactured components, buckets and ground-engaging tools, will also be promoted.
“We can't wait to showcase our capabilities at Bauma 2025,” says HCME President Francesco Quaranta, who will attend the event for the first time since his appointment in April 2024. “We recognise the challenges in the industry and the tough conditions in which our customers operate, so our main focus is to show how Hitachi can make life easier for customers through our innovative products, advanced technology and industry-leading digital solutions.”
Bauma 2025 takes place from 7-13 April at Messe München, Germany. The last event in 2022 attracted more than 495,000 visitors from more than 200 countries.
