The resumption of normal business operations was scheduled to begin on May 18,but following the extension of the Japanese government’s declaration of a state of emergency, we now rescheduled on June 1. Employees who are currently working from home or tele-working will continue to perform their works from home or other by the end of May.
In order to meet the demand for construction machinery around the world, we continue to operate our plants in Japan while adjusting production. For all of our business partners, please continue to check the latest operation days.
At our overseas bases, we have a safety-first working shift in accordance with government guidance in each country.
The Hitachi Construction Machinery Group will take appropriate countermeasures in accordance with the infection confirmation and countermeasure plan compiled by new coronavirus countermeasures office and guidance from public health centers and administrative agencies in the event our employee is confirmed to be infected.
Depending on future circumstances, working from home and tele-working periods may be changed at any time. The latest information will be released as soon as it is decided.
We will give top priority to ensure the safety of employees and their families, as well as our customers and other stakeholders.
