(Road-repair machine that allows 100% recycling of old asphalt)
Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. (President: Ryuichi Seguchi; Capital: ¥²2,199,050,000) and Green ARM Co., Ltd. (Managing Director and CEO: Hisashi Hosokawa; Capital: ¥³00 million; Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) have agreed on licensing for production of the AR2000 Super Recycler, a heating-type asphalt road-repair machine that is expected to see increased demand in coming years. The machine is oriented to environmental protection, and together with the low-cost construction it allows, has already been recognized in countries such as Canada, the U.S.A., and Italy.
Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. is already manufacturing and selling road-repair machines such as road rollers, tire rollers, and other normal temperature road-repair machines, but is preparing to use its technological strength to begin production this fall. Green ARM Co., Ltd. received exclusive rights from the Martec Recycling Corp. (Head Office: Canada), which is providing licensing rights to countries in Asia including Japan, and was established on August 10, 2001.
