Response to the Pakistan Earthquake

We express our heartfelt sympathy to the victims of the devastating earthquake that struck northeast Pakistan on October 8, 2005 and sincerely hope for a quick recovery.
In response to the earthquake, Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. (President: Shungo Dazai) will support relief efforts by providing hydraulic excavators with breaker & crusher and wheeled hydraulic excavators (total value of 50 million Japanese Yen) through the Prime Minister’s House, Earthquake Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Authority.
We plan to implement this response measure quickly in cooperation with our local dealers in Pakistan.
