HCM fully supports a NPO (Non Profitable Organization) who serve post mine-clearance contribution

– Commencing from April in Cambodia –

We, Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. (HCM) will fully support “Yutaka Na Daichi- Good Earth Japan ,so called GEJ” who is a Non profitable organization duly registered in Japan.

GEJ was just established on 19th March,2007 of which purpose is ;

1) Post mine-clearance land rehabilitation supporting services where many landmines have been varied due to wars and/or regional conflicts

2) Letting children always be smiled under safety living circumstances

GEJ will start it’s activity from April this month in Surappan village, Battanban-district, Cambodia, the context of it’s support will be agricultural environmental improvement, agricultural training, building schools and so on.

The local counter-part of these services will be CMAC (Cambodian Mine Action Center) and CEDAC, a local NGO (Centre d’ Etude et de Development Agricole Cambodia) will give it’s help by dispatching agricultural specialist.

HCM takes it’s CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) basic philosophy as an activity based on a principle enterprise policy and contributes globally through it’s main business activities.

HCM has been producing and supplying it’s products of demining equipment over 5 countries so far and through such commitment of overseas demining operation, HCM has come to a decision to fully support the said NPO as it’s target coincide.
