Hitachi Construction Machinery Group’s Response to Major Flood Disaster in Pakistan

All members of the Hitachi Construction Machinery Group would like to express our sincere condolences to the victims of the catastrophic flooding caused by extremely heavy monsoon rains that occurred from July 29 to August 2 in Pakistan. We sincerely hope for the swift recovery of the people and areas affected by the disaster in Pakistan.

Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. will donate one hydraulic excavator (equivalent to 17 million yen) to support recovery efforts. The machine will be presented to the national disaster management authorities in Pakistan in order to remove silt deposits in affected areas and restore irrigation functions in Sindh province, which was struck by unprecedented disaster.

*Equipment to be donated: 20-ton-class wheel-type hydraulic excavator (ZX210W-3 model)
