Chairman Seguchi and President Dazai Assume New Posts

Ryuichi Seguchi has stepped down as president to assume the post of
chairman, while Shungo Dazai has assumed the post of president in his place.
In the transition toward restructuring management and shifting to
committee-based governance, a new director and managerial structure was approved at the Shareholders’ General Meeting in June, 2002.
