Hitachi ZAXIS-3 Series Medium Hydraulic Excavators Received the iF Design Award

The Hitachi ZAXIS-3 series medium-sized hydraulic excavators (four models) won the iF Design Award* 2007 from the Industrie Forum Design Hannover in Germany, succeeding the ” Good Design Award 2006″ in Japan.

The prizewinning products are celebrated and exhibited at the annual CeBIT fair (world’s renowned trade show) in Germany.

Many high-standard industrial products from a number of countries are judged from various aspects, including originality, styling, performance, easy-to-use, quality, environment and safety.

The ZAXIS-3 series has been awarded in the most popular ” Transportation” category (including automobiles) out of 12 categories.
