Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. (headed by Michijiro Kikawa, president, CEO and director) has been selected in three consecutive years for the FTSE 4 Good Global Index Series, a social responsibility index (SRI) covering companies throughout the world. This indicates that HCM has met the index’s social and environmental criteria in the five categories: environmental sustainability, climate change, human rights, supply chain labour standards and countering bribery.
Companies included in the FTSE 4 Good Global Index Series are selected by the FTSE Group, a joint venture between the Financial Times and the London Stock Exchange, and referred to as important benchmarks for various SRIs worldwide.
