2H FY2014 Environmental Committee’s Manufacturing Subcommittee Meeting
On December 5, 2014, Hitachi Construction Machinery group manufacturing companies held a meeting of the Manufacturing Subcommittee, a branch of the Environmental Committee, at HCM headquarters. A total of 16 environmental site managers participated from each company.
At the meeting, managers reported and discussed achievements from activities carried out in the first half of FY2014, as well as forecasts for goals outlined in the Environmental Action Plan, and the fortification of visual environmental data. In addition there were reports on environmental activities from each group company and the subcommittee discussed issues and solutions.
Going forward the Hitachi Construction Machinery Group aims to continue to promote environmental management through the sharing of information and via communication among group companies on environmental activities.
