Contribution to prevent global warming- Carbon offset initiative (Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia)

Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) has been taking an active stance to reduce CO₂created through daily business operations.

In addition to switching off unnecessary power and changing to eco-friendly LED products, HCA have introduced more eco-friendly vehicles into their company fleet. To further improve their carbon footprint, HCA also commit to offset carbon emitted from their main means of business travel; fleet vehicles and air travel. In collaboration with NGO “Carbon Neutral”, HCA to date have offset 8,858t of carbon emissions by contributing toward wind farm and reforestation projects.

HCA is the first sales/service site in Hitachi Construction Machinery Group to implement initiatives towards minimising global warming.
