Awareness to Prevent Littering around the Factory (Hitachi Construction Machinery Indonesia)
The Cibitung 1 factory of PT Hitachi Construction Machinery Indonesia is located in a dense residential area. The area is strewn with garbage due to the low level of awareness about littering. In light of this, as a part of its environmental and CSR activities, HCM Indonesia began implemented activities to raise litter awareness among local residents. Employees worked with local children to build wastebaskets and taught them to properly throw away garbage. This has helped to raise litter awareness and is expected to help improve the living conditions.
