1H FY2015 Environment Policy Division Meeting

On September 2, 2015, Hitachi Construction Machinery held its 1H FY2015 Environment Policy Division meeting at its head office. Members of the Environment Policy Division and participants from 11 group companies participated. We requested that representatives and staff in charge of environmental management from remote locations in Japan and overseas group companies participate online. This contributed to a reduction in participants’ transportation costs, travel time, and the CO2 emissions released during travel.

At the meeting, each company introduced examples of energy conservation and reported on environmental trends and strategies. In addition, discussions were held on the FY2015 environmental activities report and environmental plans. This clarified the direction of environmental management at Hitachi Construction Machinery Group.
