Good Earth Japan Exhibits at Global Festa Japan

NPO Good Earth Japan (GEJ), which is fully backed by the Hitachi Construction Machinery Group, participated in Global Festa Japan 2015 at Odaiba on October 3rd and 4th. This is Japan’s largest international cooperation event. In 2014, the event was hosted at Hibiya Park. However, from 2015, the event was moved to Odaiba. This year 274 organizations exhibited at the event and around 101,300 people came to the event during the two-day event.

GEJ exhibited panels with pictures and diagrams depicting the NPO’s activities in Cambodia. Visitors learned about the importance of GEJ’s assistance to the local residents living on land that has been cleared of land mines. GEJ carries out its activities with the hope that local residents will become independent as soon as possible.

The Hitachi Construction Machinery Group plans to continue to assist GEJ in its activities going forward.
