2H FY2015 Environment Policy Division Meeting

On February 24, 2016, Hitachi Construction Machinery held the 2H FY2015 Environment Policy Division Meeting at its head office. The General Manager of the Environment Policy Division, members of the Environment Policy Division, and representatives from group companies participated in the meeting. Four bases, including overseas group companies, were also present via a Web conference.

Every year at the meeting, participants discuss the Environmental Action Plan for the next fiscal year. The Plan designates the aims and goals of HCM’s environmental activities, and is divided into manufacturing or non-manufacturing companies as well as Japanese domestic or overseas operations.

On this occasion, in response to the Medium-term Management Plan of Hitachi Group, discussions on the FY2016 to FY2018 Environmental Action Plan were held and approved.

In addition, there were also reports on activity results in FY2015 as well as future plans.

We will continue to promote the environmental management of the HCM Group as a whole and improve on environmental performance.
