Decided on the FY2018 Environmental Action Plan at the 2H FY2017 Environment Policy Division Meeting

Hitachi Construction Machinery (HCM) held the 2H FY2017 Environment Policy Division Meeting at its head office on February 5, 2018.

The General Manager of the Environment Policy Division, members of the Environment Policy Division, and representatives from group companies attended the meeting. Members at 4 locations in and outside Japan participated online.

The Environment Policy Division Meeting is a discussion and approval body that is held twice a year. This time, discussions were held on the results of activities implemented by the Hitachi Construction Machinery Group in FY2017 and estimates for the fiscal year, the FY2018 Environmental Action Plan and a mid-to long-term plan for creating shared value (CSV). The activities and plans were approved.

The FY2018 Environmental Action Plan will be distributed to all Group companies and become the common plan for the Hitachi Construction Machinery Group.
