Tree Reforestation at Protected Forest Area (PT Hexindo Adiperkasa Tbk)

On 29th November 2018, as part the contribution of PT Hexindo Adiperkasa Tbk related to an environment issue to support Indonesian future, company was held a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program entitled “30RN to Care” which is related to tree reforestation activity. The activity was held as a part of 30th Hexindo Anniversary called as “CSR 30RN Series”; 30RN to Care, 30RN to Share & 30RN to Run.

The 30RN to Care activity – Tree Reforestation was followed by Sales Director Mr. Djonggi Gultom and 35 representatives of middle management & 3 30RN Quiz Winners. Also joined some participants from media, this activity was held at one of protected forest area called as Sentul Eco Edu Tourism Forest (SEETF) which is located at Sentul Bogor West Java.

Direct impact that we could seen through doing this activity is close related to employee awareness to environment issue by direct involvement in this kind activity. Other effect that we expect by doing this activity is related to Branding – Company Awareness, particularly as a public company.

Hexindo plans to make it as a continuous activity in the future. The opportunity to conduct program that closely related to environment issue has spurred us to think the idea of an effective CSR program that encourage our employee’ contribution to environment issue starts from small thing that we can do and give a contribution to the nation indirectly.
