Community Support in Paediatric Healthcare (Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia)
Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) have supported Humpty Dumpty Foundation to donate medical equipment to pediatric hospitals in Australia since 2012.
Humpty Dumpty Foundation provide a platform for hospitals to submit requests for much needed medical equipment for paediatric units in hospitals across Australia. The items are those of the latest technology.
Throughout each year HCA aim to donate pieces of equipment to hospitals in the areas of where our branches operate, so that our employees and their families and friends can benefit from the donation.
Donations of medical equipment made to: Mackay Base Hospital in Queensland, Nepean Hospital in Western Sydney and Sunshine Hospital in Victoria. A total contribution of $21,620 during November and December towards supporting hospitals and childhood healthcare.
The deliveries are expected to arrive early in 2020. At that time of the goods arriving, HCA in conjunction with Humpty Dumpty Foundation will arrange some of HCA staff to visit the respective hospitals where they will meet the hospital staff and celebrate an official handover of the donations. This is a great opportunity for engagement between HCA and their local hospital staff to gain a deeper understanding of how impactful the donation will be towards helping the lives and health outcomes for many babies in their hospital.
HCA aim to disperse our donations in a successive order to hospitals in our branch areas with at least one donation per month. HCA will continue to donate to children’s wards in hospitals to support healthcare of babies around Australia.
We HCA are very proud to be in position to be able to support the community and healthcare services across Australia in conjunction with the Humpty Dumpty Foundation.
