Hitachi Construction Machinery Americas Held Opening Ceremony for New Regional Headquarters

Hitachi Construction Machinery’s regional headquarters for the Americas, Hitachi Construction Machinery Americas Inc. (headquarters; Newnan, Georgia, USA、CEO：Al Quinn, “Hitachi Construction Machinery Americas“) held a grand opening ceremony on February 19th to celebrate the opening of their new office building and conference and training center on its site.

The ceremony was attended by approximately 160 guests, including Brian Kemp, Governor of Georgia, First Lady of Georgia Mrs. Marty Kemp, and Mr. Mio Maeda, Consul General of Japan in Atlanta. They were joined by Hitachi Construction Machinery Chairman and Executive Officer, CEO Kotaro Hirano, Executive Vice President and Executive Officer Naoyoshi Yamada, Senior Vice President and Executive Officer Yusuke Kajita, business partners, dealers, and outside directors. Along with approximately 200 Hitachi Construction Machinery Americas employees, all 360 participants celebrated the grand opening of the new company headquarters facility.

In his speech, CEO Hirano commented, “We would also like to express our sincere thanks to our employees, contractors, and designers who worked so hard to make the opening of our new Regional Headquarters for the Americas happen on schedule. I have high expectations for the continued growth of our company in the Americas, and it all starts here in Georgia. I would also like to ask for your continued support moving forward to help our business succeed in North and South America. “

The Hitachi Construction Machinery Group has set "expanding business in the Americas" as one of the four pillars of its core strategy in our medium-term management plan "BUILDING THE FUTURE 2025: Create the Future," which began in fiscal year 2023.

Hitachi Construction Machinery America aims to achieve sales revenue of 2.3 billion USD or more in the Americas in fiscal year 2025 from its own business by using the new regional headquarters to bolster support for dealers and customers.
