Supporting Sanitation Facilities in West Java Province Damaged by Earthquake (PT Hexindo Adiperkasa Tbk)

Indonesia’s Hexindo installed sanitation facilities in two villages damaged by the earthquake in West Java Province which occurred in November 2022. The installation of sanitation facilities was carried out in cooperation with the Red Cross Indonesia and handover ceremony was held in August 2024.

More than 50 households live in each village where sanitation facilities have been provided. The sanitation facilities are expected to be useful in the lives of many people as a place to provide public toilets and safe water. At the same time, Hexindo employees collected children’s books and toys and gave them to the children.

 

Since fiscal 2021, Hexindo has been engaged in activities to support safe water and sanitation, including the installation of public toilets, health seminars, and healthcare support. We will continue to carry out these CSR activities and contribute to the maintenance of appropriate hygiene in local communities.
