Hitachi Construction Machinery works to provide customers with the parts and services that contribute to the stable operation of their machinery. We accomplish this by visualizing the status of machinery using ICT and IoT technologies, improving the quality of parts, establishing a supply chain, and enhancing the technical capabilities of the service engineers who perform repairs and maintenance.
In the face of the demand to prevent machine downtime (the halt of machinery due to malfunctions) of construction and mining machinery operating worldwide, Hitachi Construction Machinery offers the service solution "ConSite®", which detects faults by collecting and analyzing the machine's status using IoT technology. We strive to enhance the functionality of our solutions to increase the frequency of preventive maintenance and enable repairs or parts replacement before breakdowns occur, thus continuing our pursuit of zero machine downtime.
We also continually work to improve the quality of parts, and by maintaining lineups of genuine parts, selected parts and remanufactured parts, we allow customers to select the parts that are right for their business and contribute to lifecycle cost reductions.
