Third-Party Review

Hitachi Construction Machinery undergoes third-party reviews to increase the reliability of information related to the environment.
Third-party reviews have been continuously performed on energy and greenhouse gas (CO2) emissions since FY2011, and the scope of the reviews has expanded year by year.
We have followed the “Basic Guidelines on Accounting for Greenhouse Gas Emissions Throughout the Supply Chain” of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Ministry of the Environment when calculating emissions, and have aggregated the results.
