Lutopan Toledo City, Cebu – Brighton Machinery Corporation(BMC) the exclusive distributor of Hitachi Construction Machinery in the Philippines, together with Hitachi Construction Machinery Asia and Pacific Pte. Ltd.(HMAP) marked a milestone in the Philippine mining industry last February 10, 2015 with the turnover of the First HITACHI EXCAVATOR EX2600-6 in the Philippines.

Turn-Over Ceremony

The ceremonial turn-over took place inside Carmen Copper Corporation site at Lutopan, Toledo City, Cebu. The ceremony was attended by Hitachi Construction Machinery Asia and Pacific Pte. Ltd. Managing director, Shunya Hashimoto and Brighton Machinery Corporation President, George Tan, as well as owner of Galeo Equipment Corp., Mr. Miguel Alberto Guitierrez, and Mr. Boy Ramos, president of Galeo.

Hitachi EX2600-6 Excavator with Service Vehicle

Galeo Equipment Corporation is among the top three mining contractor in the Philippines with various mining sites at the Philippines. The Hitachi EX2600-6 excavator is now working at Galeo’s biggest site at Carmen Copper Corporation.

It was a day to remember for Brighton Machinery Corporation, Hitachi Construction Machinery Asia and Pacific Pte. Ltd., for it marks the start of a new endeavor for the Brighton Machinery Corporation and Hitachi Construction Machinery Asia and Pacific Pte. Ltd. as they start to penetrate the mining industry of the Philippines.
